CI Capital Asset Management announces the subscription closure for Egypt’s first sectoral equity investment fund: the “CI-ctor” Multi-Issue Investment Sector Fund

CI Capital (CICH.CA), the leading diversified financial services group, announced the subscription closure for the “CI-ctor” Multi-Issue Investment Sector Fund issued by CI Asset Management yesterday following a strong response from investors. The fund aims to invest in the shares of companies listed on the Egyptian Stock Exchange, each issuance focused on a specific sector. CI Capital Asset Management launched this fund as the first of its kind in the Egyptian market, targeting investors who are interested in investing and diversifying their investments across various stocks within each sector. “CI-Ctor” fund subscription and redemption will be available daily starting from the first week of February 2025.
The fund includes five sector-specific issuances as follows:
- CI Real Estate Value Chain (which includes shares of companies operating in the real estate sector and related industries such as construction, building materials, cables, contracting, and others).
- CI Telecom & IT (which includes companies operating in information technology, fintech, and telecommunications).
- CI Exporters (which includes shares of companies generating a significant portion of their revenue from goods or services exports and/or foreign currency).
- CI Consumer and Basic need (which includes shares of companies operating in the consumer products sector and essential goods such as food, pharmaceuticals, healthcare, and others).
- CI Financial and Fintech (which includes financial institutions, including banks, investment banks, and companies in financing and digital payments).
The launch of the new fund is a part of CI Capital’s strategy to introduce new investment products that address the investors’ needs, both institutional and individual, locally, and globally.
